Almost every day I head into the city on the same road. There is an especially stupid place where the road curves slightly left then right, and everyone starts changing lanes because the motorway separates into two roads.
While I am pretty thorough when changing lanes, I’m quite afraid that others aren’t and I’ve managed to swerve around people coming at me from their blind spots so far, but who knows when I won’t be looking? I usually deduce that someone is about to change (when they don’t use their signal lights) from their slight movement changes, but with cars all around me I can’t be looking at just one all the time. Countless times the “faulty party” can1t really be blamed because they are signaling, but they are just to near you for you to see.
