Truck bed tie-downs for the family trip
Wednesday, June 18th, 2008Summer is upon us, the time for fun, festivity, family trips, ice tea, beaches and I could go (and want to go) on and on. As I am writing this, rain is pouring down where I live, but don’t let this stop you from having a nice Summer vacation!
If you take a load of stuff with you, you know that your truck can be an invaluable accessory in transporting all your things. This is great when you have boxes, or even simple luggage, but what happens if you want to take a ball or two, a racket, some tennis balls and so on to the beach? Is it really worth packing these stuff into a bag which you’ll open every 10 seconds once you’re there?
Take a look at the Core Cargo Sports Bags for a great solution in this area. This product changed my views of tie-downs which I associated with moving, huge boxes, big straps and so on. This is a simple and cheap accessory to keep those small bits and pieces you want to take with you still. This saves the paint job of your truck bed, and also your from a headache from the stuff banging around without the sports bags.
You can come up with some other creative uses for these bags, buy one for each family member for easy packing and subsequent access, use it to keep the groceries in one place while you get home, and so on. You can position it across the truck bed or along its side, use it with a tonneau cover, this is truly a multiple use accessory.
I can not say that I am the proud owner of this product, but this is probably the one product I want most. It basically allows you to transform the back of your truck into a camping space. I’m not saying this is a hugely innovative product, it’s a simple tent, put on your flatbed with longer legs for the canopy.
